Welcome to ‘Ivinsons’ Farm shop and Tea Room at Wetheriggs Farm, home to Michael and Joanne Ivinson. The Ivinsons are a local family to the Eden Valley, with generations living and working in the area. Michael Ivinson takes responsibility for farming the family’s 140 acres, mainly with Suffolk and Texel sheep and store cattle.
Joanne has had a long and successful career in catering and is responsible for the running of the shop and tearoom. The shop sells everyday provisions, including milk, eggs, fresh vegetables, ready meals and also high quality fresh meat. The meat is sourced locally and when possible is home reared from the farms herds.
Joanne also offers a selection of home baked pies, casseroles, quiches, soups, chutneys, pickles, jams, marmalade, cakes, biscuits, tray bakes, and delicious desserts.
Bread is baked daily along with a selection of scones which include her popular cheese variety.Freshly made sandwiches are also available on request. Gluten free and vegetarians are also catered for, please inform us of your dietary requirements when you place your order. Barbeques and outside catering commissions for weddings, christenings, funerals, special celebrations, corporate events are also undertaken.
